The world’s largest udon restaurant chain, Marugame Udon, is launching in the UAE, with the inaugural restaurant set to open soon.
The chain has 1100 outlets globally and plans to open 10 locations in the UAE over the next five years, as its initial target.
The launch of Marugame Udon in the UAE was achieved through a strategic partnership between Opal Food Concepts and Toridoll Holdings, its global parent company, along with the support of the West Zone Group.
The collaboration relies on Opal’s commitment to culinary innovation with Toridoll’s global expertise and West Zone’s extensive presence in the UAE’s retail and hospitality sector.
The brand will ensure that every dish is Halal-certified, ensuring an accessible and inclusive dining experience for all.
The brand will be debuting its chicken katsu curry udon and its teriyaki chicken udon, in recognition of the region’s strong preference for chicken.
The restaurant will also feature its ‘live noodle theatre,’ an interactive culinary performance where guests can watch chefs prepare their food.
Marugame Udon’s noodles are handmade daily and it delivers quick and affordable meals to its customers.
