Amazon has launched its 15-minute delivery in the UAE, delivering daily essentials across the neighbourhoods with Amazon Now.
The service is now available across major locations, including Dubai Marina, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Business Bay and Abu Dhabi Central.
By positioning micro-fulfilment centres close to shoppers, every necessary item – spanning fresh fruits and vegetables to personal care and electronics – will now reach customers’ doorsteps in ‘ultra-fast’.
This upgrade helps reduce both delivery distances and disruptions by easing traffic congestion, according to the company.
“We are continuing to take convenience to the next level with Amazon Now, our fastest delivery service yet in the UAE,” said Ronaldo Mouchawar, VP of Amazon Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
“Amazon Now is designed for customers’ pace of life here, bringing them everyday essentials in minutes, with whom across some locations, receiving deliveries as fast as six minutes. Whether it’s a phone charger, last-minute groceries, or baby products, we’ve got them covered,” he continued.
Beyond the ultra-fast delivery roll-out
To give customers more delivery options, Amazon has also introduced a two-hour delivery service covering products across over 30 categories.
This flexibility in service offerings reinforces the company’s commitment to meet the evolving and diverse needs of UAE customers, allowing them to shop in the ways that best suit their preferences, backed by greater convenience in the Amazon shopping experience.
Customers can access either option on the Amazon UAE website. Prime members can get free shipping or a discounted delivery fee, depending on their minimum purchase amount.
Earlier in July, Amazon UAE introduced Bazaar, a new feature in its mobile app that it says enhances the shopping journey by making browsing and discovering deals more enjoyable.
