Bisleri International has signed a deal with Dubai-based Apparel Group to produce and distribute its beverage range across the Middle East and Africa, starting with the UAE later this year.

The Indian company brings a broad lineup to the region, including its namesake packaged water, Himalayan spring water Vedica, and flavoured carbonated drinks such as Limonata, Pop, Spyci Jeera, Rev, and Bisleri Soda.

Bisleri currently operates 128 manufacturing facilities and supplies more than 500,000 retail outlets.

Angelo George, CEO of Bisleri International, said the region offers clear demand for familiar brands, especially among the Indian diaspora.

“We’ve had consistent traction in the UAE market in the past,” said George.

“With Apparel Group’s local reach and understanding of the retail landscape, and our focus on quality and brand-building, this partnership allows us to scale in a focused and sustainable way.”

Apparel Group, established in 1996, runs around 2300 stores and with 85 brands across 14 markets in the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and Africa. Its portfolio spans fashion, lifestyle and food and beverage.

Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group, said Bisleri’s entry aligns with the group’s plan to broaden its consumer offer.

“Bisleri is a familiar name to millions in the region,” he added.  “By combining our operational scale with their product expertise, we aim to make the brand more accessible and deepen our presence in the beverage category.”
