Designer toy brand Pop Mart has made its debut in the Middle East at Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2025 in Abu Dhabi.
Known for pioneering modern collectible culture, Pop Mart brought a selection of exclusive releases to fans in the region, featuring some of its most popular characters, Molly, Dimoo and SkullPanda.
The brand’s MEFCC 2025 participation aligns with its ongoing global strategy. David Chew, Pop Mart’s go-to-market manager, noted the importance of the move and emphasised that the UAE is a fast-growing market, and the event is a key to connect with new communities.
Last year, the Hong Kong-listed company reported a strong growth in both annual sales and profit, driven in part by the openings of its new physical stores in Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Italy, and Spain.
Pop Mart has expanded its footprint into 100 countries and regions worldwide since rolling out its international roadmap in 2018.
