Home and DIY retailer Ace Hardware has launched its first store in Bahrain, marking the brand’s entry into the market as part of a broader expansion strategy across the Gulf region.

Operated in the GCC by Al-Futtaim, Ace aims to position itself as a one-stop destination for home, garden, and lifestyle products.

“We are pleased to introduce the Ace experience to Bahrain,” said Vinod Jayan, MD of Al-Futtaim. “This entry reflects our commitment to building a strong presence in the region’s home living sector.”

The store features a wide range of categories, including outdoor living, DIY and tools, homewares, and appliances.

A garden section offers live plants, potting soils, and watering equipment, while the outdoor department stocks BBQ products from brands such as Weber and Broil King, along with gazebos suited to the Gulf climate.

At the same time, the DIY section includes tools from Bosch and Stanley, and a paint mixing service is available in-store.

In appliances, customers can find vacuum cleaners from Dyson, Karcher, Bissell, and Hitachi, as well as kitchen equipment from Philips, Black+Decker, Nutricook, and De’Longhi. Larger appliances include products from Samsung, Midea, Hitachi, and Whirlpool.

Shoppers in Bahrain will also benefit from free delivery and assembly services for orders above BHD$249 (US$660).

“Creating the right home environment goes beyond quality products – it also requires expertise and support,” added Ganeshan Raman, head of commercial at Ace. “Our team is available to provide guidance and help customers find the best solutions for their projects.”
