Luxury luggage startup Armoir has raised US$500,000 in seed funding led by Salica Oryx Fund, with participation from Plus VC, Chalhoub Group and international angel investors.

The capital will support the launch of new collections, expansion across the Middle East and Europe, and the growth of its design and customer experience teams.

Founded last year in UAE by entrepreneur Martial Dahan, Armoir aims to position itself between direct-to-consumer challengers and traditional luxury houses, offering premium travel products at more accessible price points.

“This funding allows us to strengthen design, expand internationally and build the brand into a recognised name in premium travel,” said Dahan.

The round follows early support from Chalhoub Group through its Greenhouse incubator.
