US beauty retailer Ulta Beauty is launching in the UAE this year, with multiple stores slated to open across the GCC next year. 

In partnership with franchise operator Alshaya Group, its first store will open in The Avenues in Kuwait, followed by an opening at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai by the end of this year. 

“We are looking forward to bringing Ulta Beauty’s differentiated business model to the Middle East, starting with Kuwait and Dubai and with more locations to follow,” said Kecia Steelman, CEO of Ulta Beauty.  

The retailer offers over 25,000 products across over 600 brands, including Chanel, Dior, ELF Cosmetics and more. 

It also provides salon services in-store and a wide range of price points. 

“We know that consumers can’t wait to visit the region’s first Ulta Beauty stores, where they can experience a fun environment and access many beloved brands for the first time in the region,” said Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden.
