Bahrain’s Alosra Supermarket launches c-store chain On The Go

Alosra Supermarket has expanded its footprint in Bahrain, launching 10 new On The Go stores. The addition takes the retailer’s network from six to 16 outlets.

Alosra On The Go is a convenience chain that offers imported groceries, household essentials and bakery goods.

Each location also features an in-store cafe under the Artisan brand, including handcrafted sandwiches, a live fresh juice bar, and a selection of specialty coffees, teas and traditional karak.

Basema Al Mahroos, CEO of Bapco Tazweed, a subsidiary of Bapco Energies, said the launch forms part of Alosra’s partnership with Bapco to enhance the service station offering across the kingdom.

“We aim to reimagine the service station experience and deliver added value to our customers across Bahrain,” he added.

The new Alsora On The Go stores are located at Bapco Energies’ service stations in the Diplomatic Area, Diyar Al Muharraq, Hidd and Isa Town, with further locations planned.
