From Seattle to Dubai: Sur La Table lands in GCC with Apparel Group

Apparel Group has opened the GCC’s first Sur La Table store at Dubai Hills Mall, in partnership with global brand accelerator Marquee Brands. The launch marks the US culinary retailer’s regional debut.

Founded in Seattle in 1972, Sur La Table is known for premium cookware, kitchen tools, and experiential cooking classes.

The brand operates stores across the US as well as an e-commerce platform, catering to home cooks and professional chefs.

Beyond retail, it offers in-store and online cooking classes that have become a core part of its brand.

“Launching Sur La Table in Dubai reflects our vision to bring world-class lifestyle brands closer to our customers,” said Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group.

Dubai-based Apparel Group operates more than 2300 stores and represents over 85 international brands across 14 countries. Its portfolio includes Off Price, Skechers, Adidas, Charles & Keith, and Wingstop.
